Marriage License Information
Nevada Marriage License Legal Requirements
In Nevada there is no blood test or waiting period. You have to obtain your license from the Las Vegas Marriage License Bureau at the Regional Justice Center located at 201 Clark Ave. Each of the couple getting married must appear in person with proof of identity and age (driver's license, birth certificate, passport, etc.). The fee is $55.00 (cash only). You will receive the license immediately. A marriage license in Nevada is valid for one year from the date it is issued
You have to be at least 18 years of age to be married in Clark County. Persons between the ages of 16 and 18 can be married with the consent of a parent or legal guardian (the parent or legal guardian must go with the person, 16 to 18 years of age, to the Justice Center with proof of ID). Those applying for the license must show proof of identity, as stated above.
